The latest FlashCards software (1.3.14) does not recognize the old format (circa 1.2.9).  Seems that you mixed '.dat format' for databases statistics and real databases formats - .PDB (universal: Palm/Pocket/Windows/Symbian) and .DCT (Pocket PC User's Dictionary). From first Pocket FlashCards release neither of this formats changes.
