Pocket PC Romanian Language Extender (LEng) is designed for support (Pocket PC/Windows Mobile Romanian localization) the following Romanian devices:
- Pocket PC
- Pocket PC 2002
- Windows Mobile/Pocket PC 2003
- Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition
Language Extender package includes drivers of Romanian Pocket PC on-screen keyboard and Romanian regional settings. As optional feature, it provides translation of Pocket PC/Windows Mobile interface to Romanian language.
With Pocket PC Romanian support you can input information in Romanian language in any application on your Pocket PC/ Windows Mobile, edit it, save, transfer to other Pocket PC’s or desktop computers and print documents including texts in Romanian language.
Pocket PC Romanian support features:
- On-screen keyboard layout for Romanian letters input. You can use different Romanian layouts
- Hi-resolution and landscape mode are supported
- New! Word autocomplete function completes words you are typing on the on-screen keyboard or Pocket PC external keyboard (available in Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition version only)
- Availability to adjust appearance of the on-screen keyboard layouts (3D-look, color keys, font of keys)
- Special module for external Pocket PC keyboard that allows using portable keyboards to type in Romanian with different Romanian layouts
- Romanian format of date and time (Pocket PC Romanian regional settings)
- Correct synchronization operations of Pocket PC applications and desktop applications (for example, MS Office applications)
- Modified Character Recognizer (Letter Recognizer) to write Romanian symbols (by default you can write only English symbols on Pocket PC), availability to adjust it in your own way
- Correct print operation for documents in Romanian
